Salary
The salary of a live-in nanny ranges from $300.00 to $500.00 gross per week depending upon the nanny's education, childcare experience, and qualifications. Highly experienced nannies may seek greater salary. The number of children being cared for, their ages, and the range of responsibilities and chores are also a determining factor in salary negotiations. The salary of a live-out nanny ranges from $8.00 to $13.00 an hour. Again, highly experienced nannies may seek greater salary. Nanny salaries are paid 52 weeks per year.

Tax arrangements should be discussed and made with families prior to beginning work.
